Omelo vs Apollo (2026): The Apollo Alternative That Sends on Every Channel

Apollo is a contact database with an email sequencer attached. You search what is in the database, pull a list, and email it. A database gets you whoever is already in it. Omelo gets you who you need.

That difference shows up twice. First in who you can reach: the investor writing checks, the creator with an audience, the owner of a business that never made a profile. Then in how you reach them: Apollo automates email, and Omelo sends on email, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, website contact forms and handwritten letters.

The short answer

Apollo gets you a database and an email sequence. Omelo gets you the exact people you need, verified, and reaches them on seven channels from one place.

Channels: Apollo automates one, Omelo sends on seven

Apollo's own knowledge base says it plainly: "In a sequence, Automatic email is the only step Apollo performs automatically." LinkedIn steps, calls and action items become tasks for a person to do by hand, and Apollo notes that it "doesn't automatically complete LinkedIn tasks."

Omelo sends LinkedIn invitations and messages for you, DMs people on X, Instagram and TikTok, fills in website contact forms, and mails handwritten letters once you approve the draft.

Who you can reach

Apollo lists 240M+ contacts and 30M+ companies, and what you can reach is what is already in that table. When the person you need is not in it, you are stuck. Omelo finds the people you need for every request and verifies each one, including the people databases do not carry: the owners and insiders named in SEC filings, creators across eight platforms, and owners who show up only in registries, licenses and permits.

Apollo added Google Maps search in March 2026, but it imports local businesses as company accounts, not people. Omelo gets you the named owner, with a verified way to reach them.

Deliverability

Apollo's warmup runs through third-party providers, and its docs tell you to set up Google Postmaster Tools yourself. Its inbox placement tests arrived in April 2026.

Omelo runs its own warmup network, where mailboxes trade threaded conversations two to four replies deep, tests inbox placement by provider through a seed network, shows Google Postmaster spam rate and domain reputation in the app, checks SPF and DMARC on your domain, and holds a follow-up when someone's out-of-office says they are away.

How Omelo works

You tell Omelo who you need to reach in one sentence, the way you would say it out loud: "GPs who led a climate seed round this quarter," "finance YouTubers with 50,000 to 200,000 subscribers," "owners of independent med spas across the Sun Belt." Omelo gets you those people, verifies every one, writes to each of them individually, and reaches them on the channel they answer: email, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, website contact forms and handwritten letters. Calls and gifts come prepared for you, with a researched call script or a gift and a ready cart.

On X and Instagram, Omelo opens the person's profile, looks around, follows, pauses, then sends the message, and moves on to the next person minutes or hours later in natural sessions, with a daily number that changes day to day. LinkedIn runs through a managed connection with warmup and per-account caps. Connect a company account and a personal one, and nobody hears from both.
