Omelo vs Outreach (2026): Sequences With Tasks, or Seven Channels Sent for You
Outreach, now at outreach.ai, calls itself the "Agentic AI Platform for Revenue Teams." Its sequences send email on their own and turn most other steps into tasks for a rep, and the contacts come from your CRM or a data partner. It is built for a sales team that has people to work and reps to do the work.
Omelo finds the people you need, verifies them, and sends on email, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, website contact forms and handwritten letters itself.
The short answer
Outreach automates email and hands reps a task list for the rest. Omelo gets you the people you need and sends on seven channels for you.
Channels: one automatic step, the rest are tasks
Outreach's own sequence overview lists Auto Email, Manual Email, Phone Call, Generic Task and LinkedIn steps. Auto email is the one that sends by itself: "Your emails will automatically send out to Prospects based on the time interval you set." For a call, "a Call Task will be created for you," and a manual email means "a manual Task will appear in your Tasks tab." LinkedIn steps are activities a rep performs, "like sending a connection request, viewing a Prospect's profile, interacting with posted content, or sending a message via InMail."

Omelo sends LinkedIn invitations and messages for you, DMs people on X, Instagram and TikTok, fills in website contact forms, and mails handwritten letters once you approve the draft.
Where the contacts come from
Outreach enriches the contacts you have through "a select set of third-party providers," naming ZoomInfo, SalesIntel and LeadIQ. Omelo finds the people for each request, including investors named in SEC filings, creators across eight platforms and owners who appear only in public records.

Deliverability
Outreach publishes a deliverability playbook, and it points you to Google's own tool: "you can use Postmaster Tools to see if customers and prospects are marking your emails as spam." We found no built-in warmup or inbox placement testing.
Omelo runs its own warmup network, where mailboxes trade threaded conversations two to four replies deep, tests inbox placement by provider through a seed network, shows Google Postmaster spam rate and domain reputation in the app, checks SPF and DMARC on your domain, and holds a follow-up when someone's out-of-office says they are away.
How Omelo works
You tell Omelo who you need to reach in one sentence, the way you would say it out loud: "GPs who led a climate seed round this quarter," "finance YouTubers with 50,000 to 200,000 subscribers," "owners of independent med spas across the Sun Belt." Omelo gets you those people, verifies every one, writes to each of them individually, and reaches them on the channel they answer: email, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, website contact forms and handwritten letters. Calls and gifts come prepared for you, with a researched call script or a gift and a ready cart.
On X and Instagram, Omelo opens the person's profile, looks around, follows, pauses, then sends the message, and moves on to the next person minutes or hours later in natural sessions, with a daily number that changes day to day. LinkedIn runs through a managed connection with warmup and per-account caps. Connect a company account and a personal one, and nobody hears from both.

The Outreach alternative for teams without a task list to clear
If your reps already have the accounts and the time to work the tasks, a sales engagement platform keeps them organized. If you need the people found and every channel actually sent, start a project and say who you need.
